I DO NOT have this figured out yet, but did want you to know that I have been following your blog from the beginning. Isn't Mexico just a kick in the pants? Sometimes literally !
I will be amazed if this even gets to you, but sure hope it will.
After having lived in Mexico for almost 8 months, and knowing very little Spanish, I'll have to say that I can truly relate to just about all that you say...except school.
When I crossed the border back into the USA, I wanted to kiss the ground. Living in a third world country can be a huge eye opener.
It sounds as if you are handling it well in most parts. Being sick down there can be scary .
I look back on my time spent there and it was the most eye opening, changing, thankful experience I have ever had.
Because it took me about 3 hours to figure an address and user name, plus all the rest, I am now tired and will take a nap. Whew....I know it will be easier and faster next time.
Much love and many prayers to all of you. I wish I could be down there with you, as that would be so much fun. It might scare other friends half to death if they have never had these experiences.
